Aside from my small rant about Dolly's Dixie Fixin's-- the latest Bon Appetit magazine has some good recipes in it. Last night I made Carrot Orzo- which was easy to make and turned out very well. And to be perfectly honest, the results made me rethink risotto- far less time and elbow work went into making the orzo dish with nearly the same results. Of course risotto is fabulous! Maybe more so when someone else is making it though...
